Our first-ever Thread Swaps event at Mystery Eatery was a fantastic success and a vibrant celebration of sustainable fashion! It was inspiring to see our community come together to embrace the idea that the most eco-friendly garment is the one already in circulation. With over 40 items of clothing successfully swapped, the evening was buzzing with energy as participants discovered “new-to-you” treasures, shared style tips, and enjoyed great music and snacks in a relaxed, social atmosphere.
The event was more than just a clothes swap; it was a meaningful step toward circular living. We wrapped up the day with a thoughtful discussion on fast fashion and the power of reusing what we already own. To ensure every piece of clothing found a purposeful home, all remaining items were donated to a local NGO. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this milestone event—together, we’re proving that being fashionable and being sustainable go hand-in-hand!
